For those who are suffering from diabetes, they are aware that food plays an important role in its regulation.  This is because if they consume too much starchy foods, it will be converted to sugar during digestion and this will increase the level of sugar in blood. Even though avocado contains a small amount of carbohydrate, it doesn't interfere with the control of diabetes and is therefore good for consumption.

Studies have showed that Avocado contains a compound called beta-sitosterol. Beta-sitosterol is able to reduce bad cholesterol levels in our system and thus prevents bad cholesterol from destroying our heart.
Avocado also contains mono-unsaturated fats which are heart healthy. Monounsaturated fats helps in regulating cholesterol levels in blood which in turn reduces our risk of developing heart disease.

Pear is significantly high in potassium. Potassium helps to regulate the effects of sodium. This is because an increase in the intake of sodium is responsible for an increase in blood pressure.
